Apple Supply Chain Continues to Get Hit as Does High Flying Universal Display

Yesterday, Dialog Semiconductors shares got taken apart on chatter that Apple might not use its technology beyond a year and change. Shares were down almost 35%, at one point, on the DAX.

Last week, it was Imagination Technology shareholders that woke up to a nasty disclosure from the company that Apple will not be using their technology beyond 2018/2019.  Shares, at one point, were down 70% on the London Stock Exchange.

Today, investors are taking down everything in the Apple change as the risk-off trade in the global markets continues, and its guilt by association, however remote that association might be.

It's almost like investors suddenly believe that Apple and the other mega-cap tech stocks will suddenly start manufacturing each and every part that goes into all its products all on its own.
